Color Scheme Selection

I need help picking a color scheme. I've narrowed them down to 11 choices, and created a poll that will be open for a bit. Please comment below and/or vote to the right!

All color schemes were made using color scheme designer

1. I've always been a big proponent of tyranids adapting their colors to match their environment. I really like tyranids that have bright colors, like this one... but where are they going to need to use these colors? Fighting against the cyborg-banana-strawberries in the Eye of Terror? Hive Fleet Sweet Tooth!

 2. It seems a little random but the right choices could be sweet. Blues on carapace, purple skin, orange toxin sacs / goo.

3. The Olive / Purple contrast would look interesting against a lot of different types of terrain.

4. This one is Jacob Poole's favorite. I almost want to save this for my "sunset eldar" color theme, but that's a discussion for another time...

5. The tones here are really striking, especially that random dark rose color on the left. On the other hand, I might lose smaller bugs on a regular basis from blending into generic grimdark terrain.

6. I think the lighter colors creating clean stripes on carapace would be interesting against the darker colors.

7. The purples break up the greens nicely. Greens could cover the carapace and skin of models; purples could be goo, toxin sacs, saliva, etc.

8. Of course, at least one solid grouping of earthy tones must be considered.

9. These colors are pretty unique, but remind me a bit of a college football team uniform.

10. This is personally my favorite. Earthy tones, some very alluring rose tones, and purples to break it up.

11. This one could be potentially amazing looking for jungle and woods tables, but stick out like a sore thumb on grimdark imperial terrain tables.

Hierophant Bio-Titan assembly completed

Whew, what a big ass model. The legs are super tiny and probably weak. The model is extremely top heavy. I may need to drill out some supports for pins then attach to a massive base.

Pre-Blog Creation Logs

01.01.14

12:13am

marking this moment as the start.

beginning with a hierophant? starting with the largest organism i will collect and working my way down, perhaps. right now i have 2 hive tyrants, 3 sets of MC wings, one hierophant, 9 warriors, and 24 termagaunts. wat.

from the current info, it would seem the warriors will continue to be bad. that makes me want to assemble them immediately.

the hierophant bio-titan construction has begun. oh, you big fat fucker. when i assemble a model, i will often think about backstory. what should i name the titan? should i name it? surely it will create memorable moments, worthy of attaching a name. big birtha? big fat bitch? regardless, the model is a big fat bitch. the older forgeworld models have all the horns on separate sprues because the molding process was, just, primitive. so 50+ spines and horns have set me back 2+ hours.
